Courtroom Television Network president and chief operating officer Dick
Beahrs will retire at the end of this year, chairman and CEO Henry Schleiff
announced Monday.
Beahrs joined the network as COO in 1992, adding the president post in
1999.
He has agreed to assist in the transition of his responsibilities and to
serve as an advisor to the network on a wide range of matters.
Additionally, Beahrs plans to spend more time on a variety of public-service
initiatives and other personal interests.
Beahrs was just awarded the "2003 Vanguard Award" for government and
community relations by the National Cable & Telecommunications
Association.
