New York-Group publisher Larry Oliver announced that Paul Audino, associate publisher and advertising sales director of Multichannel News, has been named associate publisher of Broadband Week.
Currently a section of Multichannel News, Broadband Week will be spun off as a new publication in September.
Expanding beyond cable to all broadband platforms, the new Broadband Week will provide a single source of information on broadband networking, applications and content.
Working directly with the Denver-based Cahners Telecom Group, Audino will head sales and play an integral part in shaping the direction of the new Broadband Week. He will also continue to oversee the cable-broadband business of Multichannel News as it further develops its broadband coverage on the cable side.
Audino has been with Multichannel News for 16 years, starting as a sales representative and advancing to his current position.
In addition, Larry Dunn, currently director of special projects, has been promoted to associate publisher and advertising sales director of Multichannel News. A nine-year veteran of the publication, Dunn has been influential in the development of new products and special reports for the magazine.
