Taking another step toward completing its AT&T Broadband unit's merger
with Comcast Corp., AT&T Corp. told the New York Stock Exchange its spinoff
of AT&T Broadband could be completed as early as Nov. 7.
Once the merger goes though, AT&T said it will conduct a 1-for-5 reverse
stock split for all AT&T common shares.
