AT&T Broadband Confirms Departures

In an expected move, AT&T Broadband confirmed that chief executive Bill
Schleyer and chief operating officer Ron Cooper won't be staying on once the MSO
completes its merger with Comcast Corp.

Comcast Cable President Steven Burke has been tapped to run the cable
division of the combined company, and Comcast executives set aside August to
look at AT&T Broadband's headquarters staff.

Comcast is looking at keeping David Fellows, chief technology officer, on in
some capacity,

AT&T confirmed. Schleyer, Cooper and Fellows all worked for Amos
Hostetter at Continental Cablevision and MediaOne several years ago.

Schleyer and Fellows commuted from the Boston area to Denver after they took
their respective AT&T Broadband jobs.

In a separate move, Comcast Cable named Nancy Reardon executive vice
president of human resources.

She'll be responsible for hiring, compensation, benefits, succession planning
and training and development, as well as Comcast University.

She'll report directly to Burke.
