AT&T Audience Network Sets Music Exclusives

AT&T said the AT&T Audience Network, an offering dedicated to original, exclusive content, said it will flesh out the offering with a slate of new original music, including concerts, artist interviews and documentaries in HD.

AT&T Audience Network is available to DirecTV (channel 239) and AT&T U-verse (channel 1114) customers on set-tops and mobile apps.  Audience Network was previously available only on DirecTV, but was extended to U-verse customers last fall following the closing of the AT&T-DirecTV merger.

AT&T said the new music slate will feature performances by Hunter Hayes, Hank Williams Jr., CeeLo Green, Kelsea Ballerini, and Peter Frampton, and others.  AT&T said its new music programming will be filmed in the 4K/Ultra HD format.

New music programming will premiere on Fridays on the AT&T Audience Network each Friday night. Artists currently scheduled include:  Jason Derulo (January 15); Hank Williams Jr. (January 17);  Michael Ray & Ashley Monroe (January 22);  CeeLo Green (January 29);  St. Lucia and Jerrod Niemann  (February 5);  Hunter Hayes (February 19);  Kelsea Ballerini (February 26);  and Peter Frampton (March 4).

“AUDIENCE Network will be the premier destination for music lovers this year,” said Christopher Long, senior vice president, original content and production at AT&T, in a statement. “We’re bringing extraordinary concerts and rare musical performances from artists of every genre into your home with the premium viewing experience that AUDIENCE Network is best known for.”
