Arris Group Inc. said Wednesday that its "Cadant C3" cable-modem-termination system has been awarded EuroDOCSIS 1.1 qualification.
The Cadant C3 joins Arris’ "Cadant C4" CMTS and "Cornerstone CMTS 1500" on the EuroDOCSIS 1.1 list.
Arris added that the Cadant C3 -- which was already qualified for Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification 1.1 in the United States -- is DOCSIS 2.0-upgradeable.
