A&E to Debut New Music Series

Music legends Billy Joel and Sting will help to launch a new A&E Network
music series set to debut in November.

A&E in Concert will feature concert performances, as well as in-depth
profiles of some of the more popular music artists today.

The inaugural show launches Nov. 11 with Billy Joel: In His Own Words,
followed Nov. 24 by Sting in Tuscany: All This Time.

A&E vice president of film, drama and performing arts Delia Fine said the
network does not have a set number of episodes slated for the series, but
rather, it will offer shows as it secures top artists.

The network also announced Wednesday that veteran singer/songwriter Elton
John will appear on its A&E's Live by Request music show in
December.
