A&E to Air Female Soldier's Story

A&E Network Friday will premiere one of the first specials to chronicle
the U.S.-Iraq war based on the capture and rescue of Army private Jessica
Lynch.

Saving Private Lynch will explore the raid on the Iraq hospital that
rescued the 19-year-old female private, the network said.

Out of her unit, at least nine soldiers were killed. Five were taken
prisoner, then released, and only one -- Lynch -- was rescued.

One of those killed was Lynch's roommate, Lori Piestewa, who became the first
female casualty of the war.
