WWE Takes PPV Interactive
World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. will break the first “Taboo” Tuesday, Oct. 19.
“Taboo Tuesday,” WWE’s first interactive pay-per-view event, will let viewers log onto the wrestling organization’s Web site (www.wwe.com) and decide which three Superstar contenders will challenge Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which Raw Superstars will get a chance to face Chris Jericho for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, the type of match in which Raw Superstars Randy Orton and Ric Flair will compete and what attire the WWE Divas will wear during the Battle Royal for the WWE Women's Championship.
"Taboo Tuesday is the most revolutionary PPV concept in history," WWE executive vice president of marketing Kurt Schneider said in a prepared statement. "The interactivity in Taboo Tuesday will put our fans in control of the action like never before."
