World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. said its video library now contains more than 75,000 hours of content.
In addition to its own fare, WWE has purchased libraries dating back to the 1950s from World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling, the American Wrestling Alliance, World Class Championship Wrestling, Class Family Wrestling, Central States Wrestling, Ohio Valley Wrestling and Smokey Mountain Wrestling.
WWE said its library will be used across all of its platforms, including subscription-video-on-demand-service WWE 24/7, a new one-hour series, WWE Home Video and its Web site (www.wwe.com), broadband and mobile businesses.
