WFN: World Fishing Network is now caught in Premier Retail Networks' net.
The dedicated fishing service has reached an agreement for display on Premier Retail Networks' in-store service that reaches nearly 5,200 locations nationwide.
Starting this month, customized WFN HD content will be displayed on screens in such retailers as Wal-Mart, Costco and Best Buy across the U.S. The electronics retailer's outlets will also feature WFN fare in Canada.
Vignettes will bring viewers to exotic and intriguing fishing locations from around the U.S. as "WFN's Reel Road Trip" segments will give consumers a taste of some of the best spots to cast their lines.
"WFN is always looking for new ways to showcase the stunning clarity of WFN HD," said WFN vice president, marketing Christopher Doyle in a statement. "Partnering with a network that has the reach and scope of PRN is the perfect way to allow even more people to travel to the best fishing destinations across the country, all through the WFN HD experience."
Noted PRN senior vice president, content strategy and creative services Keith Daly: "We are very pleased to add WFN to our list of premier content providers. The beauty of the outdoors and fishing on HDTV screens is another way for us to connect with customers in our retail locations."
