Wanted: Nominees For Marks, BMLI, ‘40’ List

The following calls for nominations or applications
were issued last week:

Mark Awards: The Cable & Telecommunications
Association for Marketing
is seeking entries for the 2012 Mark
Awards competition, the cable industry’s
top marketing competition, honoring
excellence in consumer and business-tobusiness
marketing from cable companies,
content providers and agencies.
The initial deadline to submit entries is
Tuesday, March 27, with a final deadline
of Tuesday, April 10 (when additional fees
apply). Entry guidelines, online form and

Winners will be announced at the Mark
Awards event during the CTAM Summit
on Oct. 14.


Betsy Magness Leadership Institute:
Women in Cable Telecommunications
is now accepting applications for
the BMLI ‘s 26th and 27th classes.
Applications are being accepted
through 5 p.m. (ET) on March 30. More
information is available at WICTBMLI.org. Accepted participants join an
educational program emphasizing core
leadership skills, including negotiation
tactics, driving results and executing
organizational vision.

‘40 Under 40:’Multichannel News is
seeking nominations for cable, programming
and technology executives to
appear in the 2012 list of “40 Under
40.” The deadline for “40 under 40”
submissions is Monday, March 12. The
publication date is April 23. Nominations
of high-achieving executives under the
age of 40 (as of April 23, 2012) should
be made via email to mcnletters@nbmedia.com and should include an overview
of the person’s qualifications and a biography
(including date of birth). The “40
under 40” feature is a new list each year
so men and women who have appeared
in past lists should not be nominated.
