Viacom Music Group Sets Hangout Music Festival Coverage

MTV, Palladia and VH1 will team to offer multi-platform coverage of this weekend’s 2014 Hangout Music Festival.

 Beginning today (May 15), fans can go to MTV, Palladia and VH1 via online, mobile or social platforms to enjoy live and on-demand performances, interviews and behind-the-scenes coverage from artists performing at the three-day music festival including OutKast, The Killers, The Black Keys, Zedd, Childish Gambino and Wiz Khalifa. In addition, HD music network Palladia on May 17 will exclusively air a live performance from The Killers at the Hangout stage.

The next day MTV will air a 30-minute special showcasing some of the best performances and moments from the festival, as well as chronicle the most anticipated music, movies and fashions of the 2014 summer season.

MTV, MTV Hits, MTV Jams, VH1 And Palladia will feature Hangout Music Festival specials, live interstitials and behind the scenes looks throughout the weekend, according to network officials.

On the web, Hangout Music Festival-dedicated pages on mtv.com, vh1.com and palladia.tv will offer two unique feeds of channel coverage including live music and ancillary content throughout the weekend.
