LRN will provide a comprehensive online compliance and ethics-training program for Viacom Inc. under terms of a deal announced Thursday.
LRN said its “Legal Compliance and Ethics Center” enables employees to identify ethical dilemmas they can encounter on the job and helps them to learn how to identify, evaluate and resolve legal and compliance risks.
“Viacom has long had a culture that upholds the highest standards of business ethics and workplace behavior," said Henry Moniz, chairman of Viacom’s compliance committee, vice president and associate general counsel, in a prepared statement.
"LRN's formidable educational tools will help further our strong commitment to best practices in honoring both the letter and the spirit of the laws under which we operate around the world,” Moniz added.
