Verizon Wireless Brings Sexy Back
By Todd Spangler published
Verizon Wireless announced a pact Thursday with Justin Timberlake to launch JT-TV, a group of video channels centered on the pop star, on the carrier’s V CAST mobile service.
JT-TV will roll out four channels in 2007 -- Fashion, Film, Music and Lifestyle -- featuring behind-the-scenes footage of and interviews with Timberlake, whose single, SexyBack, won a Grammy Award Sunday night for best dance recording this week.
“JT-TV will connect Justin with his fans in a way that has never been done before and deliver our customers unprecedented access into the world of their favorite multiplatinum artist," Verizon Wireless vice president of digital media and marketing John Harrobin said in a prepared statement.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Timberlake is represented by Wright Entertainment Group.
