Rachelle Zoffer joined Verizon Communications as director of interactive TV for its Verizon FiOS TV service.
Zoffer has worked with Softel-USA, ShadowTV and Disney.
At the regional Bell operating company, she will be responsible for obtaining interactive programming.
In other FiOS TV news, the service is now available to more homes in New York and Florida.
In New York, the telco is now taking orders for the fiber-optic TV service in the village of Laurel Hollow and the Town of Hempstead hamlets of Oceanside and Lakeview on Long Island, as well as in the Rockland County village of Grandview-on-Hudson.
And in Florida, FiOS TV is now available to more than 8,600 households in FishHawk Ranch and some surrounding areas of eastern Hillsborough County.
