The Weather Channel Interactive has found another way to bring the temperature to users’ PC screens.
The cable network’s interactive arm Friday launched a screensaver that displays the current weather conditions in the user's city of choice, while also featuring exclusive images reflecting those conditions.
The weather photos on the new screensaver -- which can be downloaded free of charge (www.weather.com/photogallery) -- were all submitted by weather.com users.
“Our new screensaver perfectly combines important information about local conditions with images that were inspired by and reflect the ever-changing face of the weather and our environment,” TWCi vice president of desktop applications Matthew de Ganon said in a prepared statement.
