TVG Corrals 30 Million Subs With Comcast Rollout

TVG is now at the 30 million subscriber post.

With launches on Comcast Corp. systems in Florida, horse racing proponent TVG reached the plateau, a subscriber base that exceeds those of other dedicated sports services like NBA TV, Fox Soccer Channel, CBS College Sports Network, Tennis Channel and Fuel TV.

‘The fan base for horseracing is clearly on the rise,” said David Nathanson, president of TVG in a statement. “Not only does TVG continue to be a dominant resource in horseracing, but the distribution ranks us as one of the leading niche sports networks in the nation.”

TVG said that with statewide distribution in the Sunshine State via Comcast, viewers in Miami, West Palm Beach, Sarasota, Naples and Jacksonville now receive its lineup of live horseracing coverage, analysis and updates from the nation’s top racetracks.
