TNT Stunt Makes Pancake History
By MCN Staff published
TNT declared that a Times Square event today promoting the new Emeril Lagasse-Ty Pennington show On The Menu resulted in a new Guinness World Record for the world's tallest pancake stack.
The stack reached 87.4 centimeters -- about 34.4 inches according to the calculating folks at TNT -- and surpassed the previous record of 87 cm.
The show (our Jackie Tuman visited an open house) is a cooking competition designed to help home chefs get a dish onto the menu at a big restaurant chain. It premieres tomorrow (Oct. 3) at 8 p.m.
