Time Warner Cable will close its call center in the town where Adelphia Communications was founded and based, AP reported.
Spokeswoman Maureen Huff told AP Time Warner is not the cable provider for the Coudersport, Pa., area, and it has call-center operations throughout its service areas, with the closest located in Buffalo, N.Y.
About 75 people in the information-technology and engineering divisions will remain employed, according to AP.
