Time Warner Cable will help its digital subscribers celebrate the holidays with an array of holiday on-demand fare, including a 3D version of the Yule Log.
The nation's No. 2 cable operator is looking to ring in the festivities, as Time Warner Cable On Demand is offering the 3D Holiday Yule Log. The 3D version of Yule Log is available on Free Movies On Demand in the Yule Log category, as well as Movies On Demand in the 3D category.
In addition, the service is proffering Winter Green -- snow falling on pine branches -- and Snowman, as well as the Yule Log in standard- and high-definition. The HD and SD versions of the Yule Log, Winter Green and Snowman are also available on Free Movies On Demand in the Yule Log category.
Comcast is also offering the burning log, first presented by WPIX in New York back in 1966, in 3D. Subscribers to the nation's largest distributor can also pick from a dozen other seasonal screen savers to get into the holiday spirit on Xfinity On Demand and XfinityTV.com.
Meanwhile, Time Warner Cable customers can enjoy hours of free traditional holiday music on the Music Choice Sounds of the Seasons channel, where they can find ‘White Christmas', ‘Frosty the Snowman', ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas' and ‘Jingle Bells.'
Time Warner Cable is also unwrapping some holiday films on Movies On Demand, including Home Alone, Elf and A Christmas Story. Many of the films are available in both English and Spanish. In addition, digital TV customers can also enjoy the memorable The Nutcracker in 3D.
