Time Warner Cable, Bright House Punch Local ESPN Deportes Baseball Ticket

ESPN Deportes will toss out the first pitch today on a package of exclusive Dominican League baseball games to Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks subscribers.
The syndicated contests emanate from the comprehensive deal that Disney/ESPN signed with Time Warner Cable in September under which the programmer is making local content available to the nation's No. 2 cable operator. Time Warner Cable negotiates programming contracts for Bright House.

The Spanish-language sports network, which has been presenting winter baseball for the past seven years from the Dominican League and the Caribbean World Series, carved out the ballgames for local channels operated by Time Warner Cable in New York, Los Angeles, Texas the Carolinas and with Bright House in Tampa and Orlando.

The local baseball package, which supplements ESPN Deportes' national winter ball schedule, underlines ESPN Deportes' commitment to reaching the growing base of Hispanics in those markets and throughout the U.S.
The first game, beginning at 4 p.m. (ET) Nov. 7, pits the Toros Del Este against Tigres Del Licey. The remainder of the syndicated package, also airing Sundays at the time, is scheduled as follows:
Nov 14 Aguilas Cibaenas vs Leones de Escogido;
Nov 21 Estrellas Orientales vs Leones de Escogido;
Nov 28 Aguilas Cibaenas vs Tigres Del Licey;
Dec 5 Leones de Escogido vs Tigres Del Licey; and
Dec 19 Tigres Del Licey vs Leones de Escogido.
