Thick Ratings for Hallmark’s Thicker Than Water

Hallmark Channel Original Movie Thicker Than Water debuted with a ratings splash Saturday.

The movie, which starred Melissa Gilbert and Lindsay Wagner, posted a 2.3 Nielsen Media Research household rating Saturday from 9 p.m.-11 p.m., placing it third in the time period.

Thicker Than Water also finished third in women 25-54 (1.4) and adults 25-54 (1.2). It marked the fifth-most-watched telecast in Hallmark’s history, and it was seen by 3.3 million unduplicated viewers two-plus, the network said.

The film more than doubled its first-quarter time-period average for households, women 25-54 and adults 25-54.
