Text Answer Service Kgb Connects With YES, NESN Deals

Premium text answer service Kgb is tapping into Major League Baseball's greatest rivalry.
The New York-headquartered company has struck sponsorship deals with YES Network, the cable home of the New York Yankees and NESN, which carries Boston Red Sox ballgames.
With YES, Kgb will be sponsoring a team trivia question segment during the regional sports network's post-game shows during the 2010 campaign. Viewers of the Bronx Bombers' post-game shows will be challenged to text in the answer to that day's Kgb baseball trivia question. In addition, Kgb will run TV spots during YES's Yankees game and post-game coverage, as well on the RSN's simulcast of the WFAN radio show Mike'd Up: Francesa on the FAN.
Relative to NESN, Kgb will sponsor a team trivia question segment during its Red Sox pre-game show this season. Viewers of Olympia Sports presents The Boston Globe Red Sox Gameday Live will be encouraged to text in the answer to that day's "NESN.com Question of the Day powered by kgb" segment. The deal also includes Kgb television spots during NESN's Red Sox pre-game and game coverage.
Terms of the sponsorship pacts, which were negotiated by media agency Havas, were not disclosed.

The deals take root April 4, when the Yankees visit Fenway Park for the first game of the 2010 MLB season. Both RSNs will be carrying the contest.
