Tegna said it has reached a multi-year carriage agreement with Verizon Communications, ending a blackout of three stations that began on Dec. 31. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tegna stations in Washington, D.C. (WUSA-CBS), Norfolk, Va. (WVEC-ABC), and Buffalo, NY (WGRZ-NBC) went dark to Verizon Fios TV customers on Dec. 31 at 5 p.m.
In a statement Tegna said the stations would return to the Verizon lineup "effective immediately."
