Synacor Adds Grande, Cincy Bell Deals

Synacor Inc., a packager of Internet broadband content, has signed deals with Grande Communications Inc. and Cincinnati Bell Inc.

Grande high-speed subscribers will be offered three packages, ranging in price from $3.50-$9.95 per month.

The family package includes AmericanGreetings.com (www.americangreetings.com), Clever Island, CNN NewsPass, CNN QuickCast, Encyclopedia Britannica, MusicNow Radio, GameBlast and weather.com (www.weather.com).

The sports package includes FOXsports.com (msn.foxsports.com), MLB.com (mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/index.jsp), MotorTrend, NACSAR.com's (www.nascar.com) TrackPass and PitCommand, Rivals and SportingNews.com's (www.sportingnews.com) Fantasy Source Football. There also is an Internet-security package.

Cincinnati Bell will integrate the same Synacor content into its “ZoomTown” digital-subscriber-line service under the “ZoomTown Plus” umbrella.
