Sun Sports Brings the Heat en Español

Sun Sports will produce and air 10 Miami Heat National Basketball Association home games in Spanish.

Comcast Corp. subscribers throughout the south Florida area will have access to the regional sports network’s Spanish telecasts, and Sun Sports said additional games will be made available in Spanish next season and beyond.

The first Heat game to be produced regionally in Spanish will be March 8 at 7:30 p.m. (EST) against the Washington Wizards, with Heat Spanish radio announcer Jose Paneda handling play-by-play; Joe Pujala, the team’s Spanish radio host, serving as analyst; and Raul Striker Jr., the Spanish television voice of Major League Baseball’s Florida Marlins, serving as sideline reporter and halftime host.
