Suddenlink Communications signed a six-year contract with Convergys, which will provide customer-care and billing services to support the cable operator’s video, high-speed-data and phone services.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Convergys will provide consulting and professional services to implement and operate its ICOMS customer-care and billing platform. Suddenlink also has the option to use components of Convergys’ Infinys business-support system.
"Convergys' robust software solutions and consulting expertise will allow us to serve our customers more effectively and will facilitate the introduction of new broadband services in a more timely manner," Suddenlink senior vice president of information technology Bob Putnam said in a prepared statement.
