Suddenlink Launches 'TV Everywhere' Site With HBO, Turner, Hulu

Suddenlink Communications launched Suddenlink2GO, an online video service with thousands full-length TV episodes, movies and video clips with content from HBO, Turner Broadcasting System and Hulu.

The Suddenlink2GO portal was developed in partnership with Web-portal provider Synacor. Customers can access the service at suddenlink.net, by selecting "Watch TV" in the left column and signing in using their online account user name and password.

Suddenlink2GO provides more than 1,300 movies, including from the previously launched HBO Go and MAX Go services, available for no additional charge to all Suddenlink HBO and Cinemax subscribers.

Other content includes a range of programming from Turner's TBS, TNT, truTV, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, as well as programs and clips available from Hulu.

The Turner content includes such shows as Conan, Lopez Tonight, House of Payne, The Closer, Southland, Men of a Certain Age, Robot Chicken and Adventure Time. Those are available in many cases within 24 hours of original air dates, for no additional charge to all customers who subscribe to the corresponding Suddenlink TV services that feature this programming. The content is also available to authenticated Suddenlink customers at the Turner networks' websites.

"Our mission with Suddenlink2GO is to provide our customers with greater flexibility, and choice in their search for compelling video content," Suddenlink's chief marketing and sales officer Jerry Dow said in a statement. "We are actively working to expand both the diversity of content and the number of technologies from which that content can be accessed, including popular mobile devices such as smartphones and the iPad."

Suddenlink is the seventh-largest cable operator in the U.S. with approximately 1.4 million residential customers and thousands of commercial customers.
