Sportsman Channel Elevates Hansen To COO

Sportsman Channel has promoted network co-founder Todd Hansen to COO.
Hansen helped co-found Sportsman Channel in 2003 and most recently has been serving as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. He reports to network CEO Gavin Harvey.
In his new role, Hansen's leadership role extends to guiding operations, cultivating new revenue and growth opportunities, and managing resource allocation for the hunting, shooting, fishing network. Hansen will continue to oversee corporate communications and digital media.
"As a founder of the network and a vital figure in its growth to date, there is no one more dedicated to the success of Sportsman Channel than Todd Hansen," said Harvey in a statement. "I am very pleased that as COO, Todd will continue to be an integral part of our day-to-day operations to help us grow and maintain our position as the leader for the American Sportsman."
Noted Hansen: "It's a privilege to take on this expanded role and I am energized to contribute to our future growth. When we started this business in 2003, I only dreamt of where it could go. With the incredible content and complementary media assets we have, Sportsman Channel is uniquely positioned to deliver unbeatable value to distributors, advertisers and outdoor enthusiasts."
An avid outdoorsman and life member of more than a dozen affinity organizations, including NRA, Boone & Crocket and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Hansen initiated Sportsman's Hunt.Fish.Feed public affairs program, which won a Beacon Award for Community Services in 2010.
