Interactive-TV-software provider Softel-USA Inc. announced support for Motorola Inc.’s “DAC-6000” digital addressable controller and Scientific-Atlanta Inc.’s digital-network-control server.
The move allows Softel software to run in 90% of the cable headends in the United States.
Softel said its “MediaSphere DSM-CC” object carousel successfully interoperates with gear from both headend manufacturers under the stream-generator-interface specification.
