Sling TV To Distribute 'UFC 215,' Alvarez-Golovkin PPV Events

Sling TV, coming off its carriage of the Aug. 26 Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor pay-per-view boxing event, will offer its fight fans the upcoming Sept. 9 UFC 215  and Sept. 16 Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin PPV combat sports events, the network said Wednesday.

Sling TV customers can now purchase the UFC 215 mixed-martial arts event -- which features as its main event the Demetrious Johnson-Ray Borg fight -- as well as the Alvarez-Golovkin boxing event, which retails at $79.99, said Sling TV officials.

Both pay-per-view events will be available for viewing across all Sling TV-supported devices, according to the company.

The two events follow Sling TV’s carriage of the Mayweather-McGregor fight, which is on pace to matching or surpassing the all-time PPV buy record of 2.6 million buys set by the 2015 Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao PPV event.
