The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Tuesday canceled Wednesday’s hearing on competition and consolidation in the cable industry.
A Senate spokeswoman said subcommittee chairman Mike DeWine (R-Ohio) wanted to return home to attend the funeral of a soldier.
