SBC Communications Inc. has contracted Amdocs to provide billing support for its “Project LightSpeed” Internet-protocol-TV rollout.
Amdocs will provide its “IP Convergence” solution, which includes billing, customer-relationship management, ordering and payment-mediation products.
Amdocs will allow SBC to provide a common customer-service experience at all touch points, including the Internet, where Amdocs provides software for secure online bill payment and service ordering.
