With Sacramento Rollout, SiTV Now Available Throughout Comcast's California Systems

Si TV has launched on Comcast's Sacramento area cable systems, giving it complete coverage with the nation's top distributor in the Golden State.
To commemorate the launch on channel 478 as part of Comcast's digital basic package, Si TV, which targets bicultural Latinos, will hold a comedy event on March 1.

"Latino 101 Comedy Night" will be hosted by California State Senator Alex Padilla and feature performances by nationally known comedians starring in Si TV's popular original series, Latino 101, including Alex Reymundo, Rene Sandoval and Debi Gutierrez.
Co-sponsoring the March 1 event, which will be taped for local video on demand, are the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, California Cable Television Association and the California Latino Capitol Association.

"Working with the Comcast California team has been an amazing experience," said Si TV CEO Michael Schwimmer in a statement. "Now with complete coverage on their California systems, we can fully serve the entertainment needs of California's exploding biultural Latino population. Anyone who sees the Census numbers will be convinced that it's the right time and the right market, and Si TV is the right network."
Noted Curt Henniger, Comcast's regional senior vice president of California:  "Sí TV is a valuable addition to our programming lineup - its strong cultural resonance will help Comcast further connect with bicultural Latinos. We welcome Sí TV to the Sacramento Area and look forward to the celebration on March 1."
