Regional Sports Networks Get In The Game With NFL Gambling Show

A number of Comcast regional sports networks will kick off an NFL pre-game show aimed at the gambling set this Sunday.

GameTime Report will bow Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. on Comcast-owned regional sports network serving the Philadelphia, Chicago, Mid-Atlantic and New York areas. In addition to carriage for on Comcast Sports Net Philadelphia, Comcast Mid-Atlantic, Comcast Sports Net in Chicago and SNY (in which Comcast owns a minority stake), GameTime Report is also scheduled in that time slot on Sports Time Ohio, owned by a group affiliated with Major League Baseball's Cleveland Indians, and WPCW-TV, the CW affiliate in Pittsburgh.

A spokesman for the half-hour show, which will be taped in Philadelphia, said the schedules were secured for the balance of the NFL season through time buys, under which the program’s producers will hold all of the commercial inventory. Comcast SportsNet offered no comment about the show or its deal points.

Hosted by sports gambling guru Steve Budin, founder and CEO of gametimereport.com, the pay-per-view sports picks conglomerate, GameTime Report will feature handicappers Brandon Lang and Al DeMarco breaking down the NFL games against the Las Vegas point spread.
