New England Cable News picked up 74,567 Boston metropolitan-area households following its launch on RCN Corp.’s system there Wednesday.
The regional news network said it now serves nearly every wired household in the Boston area, the No. 5 TV market in the United States.
NECN now totals 3.2 million subscribing households in New England, nearly 2 million of which are in the Boston metropolitan area.
