Rangers Skate On Ziegfeld’s Big Screen

With the New York Rangers looking to wrap up its opening round National Hockey League playoff series against the New Jersey Devils, MSG Network is offering Blue Shirt backers a unique way to watch the potential clincher Friday night.

MSGN, the regional sports network home of the Rangers, will present the NHL Eastern Conference clash in high-definition at Manhattan’s Ziegfeld Theatre at 7:30 p.m. April 18.The Rangers lead their cross-Hudson River rivals, three games to one in the best-of-seven series.

Rangers ‘greats’ Adam Graves and Ron Duguay will be on hand to give away playoff prizes and autographed merchandise.

Adult tickets are $10 and available at www.movietickets.com, at the Ziegfeld box office, or by calling 212-777-FILM. Kids 12 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Every fan attending will receive complimentary popcorn and soda. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

MSG Media, which operates MSGN, is part of Madison Square Garden L.P., which also controls the Rangers. Cablevision Systems Corp., the owner of MSG L.P., also holds the Clearview Cinema movie chain, including the Ziegfeld.
