Pluto Launches Curated Vevo Channels

Viacom-owned AVOD platform Pluto TV will now include 10 Vevo-branded music video channels.

Starting Tuesday, Pluto TV’s purported 18 million monthly users will have access to the first of the 10 curated, genre-specific music video channels from Vevo. Those channels that follow will include a “holiday-themed” genre channel, according to Vevo.

“Historically, our business models have been symbiotic, where we have successfully reimagined media and behaviors from past to thrive in the current and future OTT ecosystem,” stated Jeff Shultz, chief business officer, Pluto TV, in a statement.

Viacom purchased Pluto TV for $340 million in January.
