Peterson Trial Boosts Court TV

Court TV drew strong viewership during the first four days of deliberations at the Scott Peterson trial, the network said Wednesday.

On Nov. 3, 4, 5 and 8, the network posted a 0.7 Nielsen Media Research household rating, ranking sixth among ad-supported cable networks.

On those four days, Catherine Crier Live -- which airs from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. -- earned a 0.9 average household rating and drew 811,000 total viewers.

Monday, Nov. 8, was especially strong for Court TV. The network delivered a 0.8 household rating, notching a No. 5 ranking and topping all cable news networks except Fox News Channel. And that day’s Catherine Crier Live garnered a best-ever 1.1 household rating.
