Comcast SportsNet New England has closed a deal with Boston Red Sox pitcher Jonathan Papelbon to appear on the network weekly.
The Bosox closer will again be featured on Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight, as well as on the regional sports network's Web site, www. CSNNE.com.
In the initial 2009 installment, Papelbon on April 8 talked with Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight hosts Gary Tanguay and Michael Felger before the club's second game against the Tampa Bay series. In the interview, Papelbon commented on walking through the stands, playing in cold weather and other topics. Papelbon's in-show appearance can be seen every Wednesday on Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight at 6:30 and 10 p.m.
Papelbon's exclusive weekly Webisode will also be a must view for Red Sox fans and will be posted within 24-hours of his weekly in-show appearance.
