Outdoor Channel has rolled into three new markets served by Cox Communications as part of distribution renewal deal its parent signed with the cable operator.
As part of the multiyear contract extension Outdoor Channel Holdings Inc. inked with Cox, the service, which has more than 31 million subscribers, is now available on Cox's Sports and Information tier in Parma, Ohio, Las Vegas and Hampton Roads, Va.
The agreement, terms of which were not disclosed, strengthens the distribution partnership for Outdoor Channel's standard definition, high-definition network and video-on-demand programming.

"We know that there is an avid base of hunters and anglers in these three Cox markets, and we are thrilled to be a part of their television experience."
