O’Sullivan-Schulte to Head Comcast RSN

Comcast SportsNet Monday named former FSN Arizona general manager Rebecca O’Sullivan-Schulte as the new senior vice president and GM of its Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic service.

A 15-year veteran of regional sports networks, O’Sullivan-Schulte will oversee the day-to-day operations of the RSN, which features live games from several Baltimore/Washington, D.C.-area pro-sports franchises including the National Basketball Association’s Washington Wizards and the National Hockey League’s Washington Capitals.

She replaces Sam Schroeder, who is returning to Philadelphia to evaluate new business opportunities for the growing Comcast SportsNet family of RSNs, according to Comcast.

O’Sullivan-Schulte was previously general manager of FSN Arizona from 2002-05.

“Rebecca brings the ideal mix of programming and operations experience to our network, and I am thrilled to have someone of her caliber and talent join our team and build upon Sam’s success,” Comcast SportsNet CEO Jack Williams said in a prepared statement.
