NY1 to Debut News at Eleven

New York 1 News, Time Warner Cable’s 24-hour local-news channel in the Big Apple, is launching an 11 p.m. newscast Monday that will air seven days per week.

News at Eleven will provide viewers with a comprehensive wrap-up of the day’s news from the five boroughs, along with weather, sports and a late-night review of business headlines with the Fortune Business Report.

News at Elevenwill be hosted by Lewis Dodley and Elizabeth Kaledin. Kaledin was an original member of NY1 News, serving as weekend anchor and reporter when the channel launched in 1992. Two years later, she joined CBS News as a reporter and later became the network’s chief medical correspondent, making frequent appearances on The CBS Evening News.

The introduction of News at Eleven will be accompanied by a revamping of NY1's primetime lineup. The replay of InsideCity Hall will be seen from 10 p.m.-11 p.m., which will replace Nonstop News and the Fortune Business Report, which will now become a segment on News at Eleven.
