Nickelodeon debuted a new version of “Nick Jr. Video” for preschoolers on its Web site (www.nickjr.com) Monday, part of the programmer’s new “TurboNick” platform.
Nick Jr. is providing sneak peeks of Go Diego Go prior to its Sept. 6 on-air debut. Also available: full-length episodes of Dora the Explorer, Blue’s Clues, Little Bill, Oswald and Gullah Gullah Island.
Overall, the site will have 70 videos including shows, short stories, music-video content and interstitials.
Elsewhere, Nick said its Nick Arcade distributed more than 1.6 million game downloads during July, its first month of operation. The site offers 60 family-friendly games, including content based on SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer. Subscriptions are available for $7.99 per month.
