NFL RedZone Kicks Off Freeview For Sunday Opener

To celebrate the kickoff of the 2011 season, the top NFL packages are being made available to more cable, satellite and telco subscribers.

Fans whose television providers carry NFL RedZone, the ad hoc scoring and highlights service covering the league's Sunday afternon slate, will receive the channel free on Kickoff Sunday, Sept. 11. Comcast, Dish, Cox, Charterand AT&T U-Verse are among the operators offering the NFL Network-produced NFL RedZone channel.

Meanwhile, all DirecTV households that don't already have subscriptions to NFL Sunday Ticket and its RedZone Channel will receive the out-of-market package, which includes all AFC and NFC regional network telecasts of Sunday afternoon games, at no extra charg.e

For its part, SiriusXM NFL Radio will offer XM Select Package subscribers the chance to listen to every home and away radio broadcast of each game on Kickoff Sunday (via www.siriusxm.com/max1 or by calling 888/749-2689).

 In addition, fans will receive free shipping on all orders placed at NFLShop.com from Sept. 8 through Sept. 12.
