Cox Communications Inc. has reached a broad affiliation agreement with NFL Network, the two parties announced Monday.
The pact includes distribution of the National Football League’s full-time cable service, as well as NFL Network on Demand and NFL Network HD.
The MSO said it will begin rolling out the network in time for the league’s preseason, which kicks off late this summer.
“This Cox deal gives us agreements with four of the top five cable operators in the country and is another confirmation that NFL Network has a promising future at the forefront of the evolving television experience,” NFL Network senior vice president of distribution Adam Shaw said in a prepared statement.
