Netflix Renews 'The Kominsky Method'

Netflix said Thursday that it has renewed its Golden Globe-winning comedy series The Kominsky Method for a second season.

The series, which stars Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin, will return for an eight-episode sophomore campaign later this year. Production will begin on the new season later this month, according to the streaming service.

The Kominsky Method won two Golden Globes Awards earlier this month for best comedy series and for best actor in a comedy series (Douglas.)

Additionally, The Kominsky Method was selected as one of AFI’s TV Programs of the Year 2018 and received two Critics’ Choice Nominations.
