Crown Media Family Networks is partnering with the National Cable Television Cooperative on a fourth-quarter marketing promotion for Hallmark Channel's "Countdown to Christmas" stunt.
NCTC's 900 plus members can support Hallmark's initiative, featuring an original movie premiere every Saturday night, and/or Hallmark Movie Channel's "Winter Wonderland" through on-air or off-air efforts. The cross-platform promotions will roll out Nov. 25 and run through Dec. 25.
CMFN will supply participating NCTC members with a full slate of marketing materials which includes 30-second taggable cross-channel spots, posters, ad slicks, web banners, on-hold messages and other creative assets for e-newsletters, e-blasts and direct mailings.
Doug Hull, NCTC director of marketing and member services, said in a release:"We are excited that all members will have a chance to take advantage of this promotion which is designed to leverage Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel's holiday programming. We couldn't think of a better partner to celebrate the holidays with."
Participating NCTC members are enrolled for a chance to win daily prizes including either a Brookstone iConvert or Sony Bloggie, plus the opportunity to win a grand or bonus home family entertainment system prize package. Also, participating members get 25% discount codes for customized Hallmark cards and party plates to distribute to their subscribers. Participation in the promotion began Oct. 3 and members have until Nov. 15 to enroll.
