Members of the board of directors of the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications will make personal contributions to the National Cable & Telecommunications Association's Cable Hope Fund to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina, NAMIC announced Thursday.
“These unprecedented circumstances have greatly affected many friends and families of people in our industry and have specifically cast a spotlight on diversity,” NAMIC president Manish Jha said in a prepared statement.
“The NAMIC national board has pooled its personal resources in order to make this contribution to the Cable Hope Fund, and we encourage others to do the same,” he added.
